Amroha is a city in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, situated in the north-west of Moradabad near the Sot river. It is the administrative headquarters of Amroha district.

Amroha is located in the north-west of Moradabad. Being just 130 km away, Amroha's weather is similar to that of Delhi. The city is divided into areas and blocks. It is located about 4 km from National Highway 24 (which connects Lucknow to New Delhi).

Amroha is famous for the cultivation of mango and its produce.
